The Haunting of Redmire Pool, First Edition 2019

Angling authors Adrian Curtis and Len Arbery, who is a legend in the specialist fishing world, joined forces to produce an investigation into the supernatural events that happened on one particular bank of the most famous carp venue in England - Redmire Pool. The lake on the Bernithan Court estate in Herefordshire, was discovered in the 1950s by Gloucester tobacconist Bob Richards and legendary angler Dick Walker. The pool was responsible for three British carp records to Richards, Walker and latterly Chris Yates in the 1980s. But while the place was fished by almost all the top names in carp fishing through the decades, strange events occurred to many of them deep in the middle of the night. The unexplained events soon created a mystery all of their own and after the authors both experienced strange happenings while night fishing at the pool, the idea for the book was spawned. Now after years of research and incorporating some eerie eye witness accounts from level headed anglers, the book keeps the reader spellbound for the length of its 108 colour and black and white pages. A5 in size, so handy for a night fishing trip, if you dare, with fabulous dust jacket and iconic artwork, The Haunting of Redmire Pool is a must have for any carp angler interested in the strange events at this historic and famous pool. Recommended retail price is £25 including P&P.
